DUAL MODE – NO EXTRA AIR COMPRESSOR REQUIRED!
Air Mode: In air mode, you can check whether there is a leak in the line by blowing air into it and listening for escaping air. If you already own an S300 air conditioning leak detector, you don’t need to purchase an additional air compressor or air pump—making your diagnostics simple and cost-effective.
Smoke Mode: The smoke mode helps you pinpoint the exact location of the leak with visible smoke. Smoke is generated within seconds, drastically reducing diagnostic time.

No external air compressor required! Simply connect the unit directly to your vehicle’s 12V battery, and generate smoke in seconds.

HOW TO PERFORM A LEAK TEST

Switch off the vehicle ignition.
For vehicle system leak detection, the engine must be turned off.

Remove the air filter and throttle body connections.

Clean the inside wall of the intake opening to avoid sharp objects, then insert the universal intake adapter.

Connect the power cable to the vehicle’s 12V battery.

The power LED will light up—if not, check the power connection.

Insert the smoke nozzle into the system through the adapter cone.

Wait 30 seconds for the system to pressurize, then check the readings on the gauge and flow meter for leaks.

Press the smoke control switch, unplug, and reconnect the smoke nozzle to the adapter if smoke is visibly coming out.

The system is ready for leak detection in about 2 minutes. Use a bright flashlight or work light to assist inspection.

After testing, press the smoke control switch again to stop smoke generation, and press the air control switch to stop airflow.

Wrap up the smoke hose and power cable with the Velcro straps for storage.
Hang the device or store it in an upright position only. Do not lay it flat.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SMOKE OIL
This device is compatible with mineral-based baby oil, such as Johnson & Johnson Pink Bottle.
For best performance, pure white mineral oil No. 5 is recommended whenever available.
